Trying to live it to the best of my ability. Trying to make it worth while enough that at the end of the day I can say, I did something good.

I have many things I enjoy, many that I find amazing and wonderful. Though few that I find fascinating, and few that I love. I am easy to placate, hard to mesmerize unless it's shiny. I don't watch much TV but have seen most of Joss Whedon's stuff, mostly at the behest of my girlfriend. I love reading and have a special place in my heart for Tolkien and Pratchett.

I hold a contempt for everything and everyone that hasn't had to deal with a life threatening disease or trauma. Not that I hate them but I feel that I exist outside of them. I don't even look down on them, despite what the word contempt may suggest, I just feel that those who have seen Hell know more about many aspects of life. And I pray that everyone who hasn't never has to.
